The following proceses are currently available at JSW Steel service Centre UK.

Blanking

Gauge's 0.50 to 2.50mm

Max width of 1850mm

Single trim width 365mm min 1800mm max

We can cut up to 5 cuts from 100mm in width to a maximum length of 4 meters, we process to a tolerance of +/- 0.25mm on the width and can offer this tolerance on some of our shorter lengths. A tipical setting would be 5 cuts @ 245mm (1225) from a 1250mm width coil, decoiled to 2000mm in length.

We are also able to decoil wide coil to a required length up to 4 meters in length i.e. 3000 x 1250 x Gauge.

Slitting

We have two slitting lines our Georg line allows us to process coils from 0.40mm in gauge cutting up to 30 strands and processing a maximum gauge of 3mm cutting 9 strands. We can produce coils to a maximum O/D of 2000mm to a tolerance of +/- 0.127mm or to a plus or minus tolerance only of 0.25mm, on 508 or 610mm I/D's.

Our second line is a Bronx slitter which we process the heavier gauges from 1.5mm up to 4mm.
